Draft — some business details below are still to be filled in and the text is pending legal review.
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and [Legal name of the person or company that operates Pharmaaguru] (“Pharmaaguru”, “we”, “us”) for your use of the website Pharmaaguru.com and the Pharmaaguru mobile app (together, the “Services”). By creating an account, downloading content or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Who can use Pharmaaguru
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under Indian law. The Services are intended for pharmacy students, aspirants, graduates, working professionals and faculty.
2. Your account
- Give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has used it.
- One person, one account. Do not share your login or let others use it.
- You may delete your account at any time (see Delete account).
3. What Pharmaaguru offers
Pharmaaguru provides free pharma learning resources — such as PDFs, practice questions, videos and webinars — guided by Dr. Prabhakar Reddy Veerareddy, and information about courses we plan to launch. Features, content and availability may change, be paused or be withdrawn at any time. Courses shown as “coming soon” are not yet on sale and nothing on the Services is an offer to sell a course. If we later launch paid courses, additional terms (including pricing, refunds and cancellation) will be shown to you before you buy.
4. Educational content only — no guarantees
- The Services are for education and general information. They are not medical, clinical, legal, regulatory or professional advice, and must not be used to diagnose, treat or make decisions about any patient or product.
- Pharmaaguru does not guarantee any exam result, rank, admission, job, interview or salary outcome. Your results depend on your own effort and circumstances.
- We take care to keep content accurate and current, but pharmacy syllabi, regulations and exam patterns change. Always check official sources (for example the Pharmacy Council of India, NTA, NIPER and your university) before relying on anything.
5. Our content and your licence
All content on the Services — including text, PDFs, questions, videos, graphics, logos and the Pharmaaguru name — belongs to Pharmaaguru, Dr. Prabhakar Reddy Veerareddy or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the content for your own non-commercial study.
You must not, without our written permission:
- copy, resell, share publicly, upload to other websites or groups, or otherwise distribute our PDFs or other material;
- use the content to create a competing product or course, or to train AI or data-scraping systems;
- remove copyright or ownership notices.
6. Acceptable use
When using the Services you agree not to:
- break any law, or infringe anyone’s rights;
- give false information or impersonate another person;
- attempt to access accounts, data or systems that are not yours, probe or test our security, or interfere with the Services (including by automated scraping, bots or overloading them);
- upload or send harmful code, spam, or abusive, defamatory, obscene or misleading content, including in messages to us and in any Pharmaaguru community group;
- reverse engineer or tamper with the app, except where the law allows.
7. Webinars, videos and third-party services
Some features use services we do not control, such as YouTube, Zoom, Google Meet and WhatsApp. Your use of them is subject to their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their availability or content. Links to other websites are provided for convenience and are not an endorsement. Webinar dates, speakers and topics may change. Recordings are for your personal study only.
8. Community groups
If you join a Pharmaaguru WhatsApp group or similar community, follow the group rules, be respectful, and do not share spam, promotions or confidential information. We may remove members who break these Terms or the group rules.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or misuse the Services, or if we must do so to protect the Services or comply with the law. You can stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as our rights in the content, the disclaimers and limits of liability, and governing law) will survive.
10. Disclaimer
The Services and all content are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not give any warranty, express or implied, including about accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pharmaaguru, its owners, mentors, employees and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of results, opportunities, income or data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Services or reliance on the content. Because the Services are free, our total liability to you for any claim relating to them will not exceed ₹1,000, except where the law does not allow this limit — for example, liability that cannot be excluded for fraud or wilful misconduct.
12. Changes to the Services and these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new “last updated” date and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email. If you keep using the Services after the change, you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any rights you have under consumer protection law, the courts at [City], India have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from them. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern informally.
